The Dirty Haggard Strychnine pedal is a two in one effects unit born from a collaboration with Portland psych rock outfit Spoon Benders. It combines an overdrive circuit and a playful phaser into a single compact stompbox, allowing guitarists and bassists to flex between gritty drive and swirling modulation, or dial both in together. Designed with versatility in mind, it integrates smoothly into pedalboards with dedicated outputs and buffered circuits on each side.

Tonally, the overdrive side delivers a bright, high mid edge thanks to a soft clipping op amp and an onboard treble cut. It’s voiced to push an amp into both warm growl and aggressive breakup, with plenty of output gain to drive your amp hard. The phaser side, driven by a sawtooth modulated delay chip, imparts a rhythmic sweep and subtle slapback like thickness.
