FX Pedal Planet Online Store has introduced a new “Quality Checked” sticker, recently received from its long-standing suppliers, Sustainable Print, marking a further step in the company’s commitment to careful preparation and responsible retailing. These stickers are included with every pedal despatched and serve as a clear assurance that each unit has passed through FX Pedal Planet’s own in-house checks before leaving the shop.

The stickers themselves are produced sustainably, reflecting the company’s preference for environmentally responsible materials wherever possible. More importantly, they represent the final stage in a quality control process that begins long before a pedal reaches the shelves. FX Pedal Planet works only with suppliers who operate to consistently high standards, and in many cases the person who designed and built the pedal has also tested it prior to despatch. In addition, all products must meet relevant regulatory requirements before they are considered for sale, and there is a significant amount of compliance involved before any new stock is approved.

By the time a pedal arrives at FX Pedal Planet, it has often travelled hundreds or even thousands of miles. For that reason, every unit is checked again on site before being sent to a customer. Each pedal is tested for sound and control functionality using a Mezzabarba Skill head and Mezzabarba Streetfighter cabinets, ensuring that switches, pots and overall performance behave exactly as intended. Hardware is then inspected, with nuts, washers and screws checked for security, before the enclosure is carefully cleaned using Axe Wax detailer. This stage not only prepares the pedal for presentation but also allows a close inspection of the finish.

Once testing and inspection are complete, the pedal is boxed with all original contents and box candy, then gift wrapped using eco-friendly, acid-free materials. The “Quality Checked” sticker is included inside the package as a final confirmation that these steps have been carried out, so customers can be confident their pedal arrives in excellent condition.
