The Thank You card is a simple message of gratitude to customers for trusting FX Pedal Planet Online Store and the small independent builders and creators it represents. At the same time, it highlights the work of Strings for Hope, an organisation that upcycles used guitar and bass strings into jewellery. These strings, once destined for landfill, are transformed into wearable pieces while helping to support people rebuilding their lives.

Strings for Hope works with individuals who are often survivors of addiction, domestic abuse and human trafficking, providing opportunities to earn an income and learn new skills in a safe and supportive environment. By including these cards with every order, FX Pedal Planet is keen to raise awareness of this work and encourage the music community to take part in a simple, practical way.

Customers now have two options for contributing their used strings. FX Pedal Planet offers to send strings to Strings for Hope on a customer’s behalf. Players can save their used strings throughout the year and, at year end, contact FX Pedal Planet to arrange collection and onward delivery. In addition, every order now includes a dedicated envelope. A single used set of strings can be placed inside, taken to the post office, stamped and posted directly, making it easy for anyone to get involved without waiting.
